We spend some time resting in the lair we had just secured, and I, together with Garritas took along at the summoning circle the spider creatures had used. We couldn’t make much sense of it. However, it was inspirational none the less, I might have found some way to copy what they have done on a similar scale on my own,we will see when I have time to put it into practice.

Having saved the tree we went to look at the different parts of its underground structure cavern, we found that in one of the rooms there were dead bodies hanging all around, a larder if you will. To make sure nothing in there was still alive (as spider poison is known only paralyse their foes, so they can eat them alive). However, the magics of the surroundings seemed to have even turned digested goo against us..
As soon as we cut some of the containers open a yellow greyish goop fell from it, which then turned to us and slowly approached, every touch it made with us burned intensly. Not only that but it somehow was able to summon its friends. Now surrounded by goop we quickly turned out the room as rikardo was already almost down. But luckily after some healing and some ranged attacks we were able to take them all down. Next we opened the remaining containers (with a unseen servant from a distance) and were able to get something nice out of this after all. We found a helmet of telepathy, and a staff of withering. As I was the only one around being able to use the the staff, it quickly fell to me, I have the feeling it might not be so good for my image as a hero.. but its better to use then to die..
And we found something completely else as well.. a leprechaun. After we took it to the surface, and calmed it down a little Rikardo was able to communicate with it (it only spoke sylvan). It told us its name is Corrie, a prince, who has been walking the planes for 250 years, looking for a “singing sword”.

The tree was saved, we had some time.
