Settling in (the Westvallers) and dealing with the aftermath of the Triffid Mk2 attack. After a while the players realised that the Triffids seem to have “sprung” out of the ground directly around the central building. Having a moment of clarity – Romero strongly suspected that another BOX could be involved. He and Cristoff set off exploring the surroundings. Cristoff discovered the box in the cellar hidden in a corner.

Immediately this set off a “who-dunnit” investigation of the Finnley’s. The assumption being that someone had to be involved or knowledgable of how the box made its way into the cellar of the central building. A place not easily accessible to non-Finnley residents. The only other recent visitors where the dwarves heading back to the Quarry.

With some good usage of the zone-of-truth spells the fellows were able to eliminate all suspects. They even eliminated Grandmother Finnley from the list.

Dissatisfied with the results of their investigation, with a cursed Cristoffer in tow and some general idea of hiding the box back at Sorø – maybe even asking Janna the alchemist if she has some ideas on the box.

On an aside – Cristoff got some vague directions on a possible cure for his were-boar affliction. It involved getting some blood from the one who infected him – or possibly from the one who infected his sire. Cristoff thought perhaps Janna may have some further insights in cures.

This session was mostly us chilling at the Finnley Farm’s.
